Send a Parcel to Perth, Australia

The city of Perth is the capital of western Australia and sits along the River Swan on a coastal plain. Including the outlying areas it is home to around 1.6 million citizens and this makes it the fourth largest city in the country.

Whereby Perth is split by the Swan River most people live along the coast. The city started out as a free settlement colony back in 1829. Free settlement being the name given to those who voluntarily settled here rather than convicts who were brought here by force. The city of Perth has a laid-back feel to it.

It is a city of much diversity despite its isolation from the rest of Australia it actually has more than half of its residents coming from outside of Australia, and in particular Malaysia and Thailand.

Weather wise the city has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry Summers, and wet and mild Winters.

The city can be conveniently explored on foot and is ideal for cycling tours, with many specialist trails throughout the city.

Whilst in Perth you really must try swimming in the sea as Perth features some of the very best beaches in Australia, which are ideal for swimming in during the warm summer months.

The Fremantle markets are also worth trip to for some shopping or simply have a coffee whilst taking in the atmosphere of the markets. The nature reserve at Rottnest Island is a worthwhile day trip to take.

The Swan valley also boasts some of Australia's best wineries and breweries and can be a place to spend a good afternoon wine tasting.

The transport network in and around Perth is good and thus local parcel distribution systems are also good. Australia post provides a lot of the local deliveries being a monopoly in the country. It also provides parcel delivery services for the ‘final mile’ of many other couriers' services.

Great Delivery Service

Very pleased with this parcel delivery service. It was much less expensive than sending via Royal Mail. We were able to track it from the UK, through every stage, until it reached its destination in Brisbane Australia 7 days later.

Delivered as promised

This is my 3rd time using this company to deliver a parcel to my family in Australia and again I can’t find fault with them or DHL who they use to deliver the parcel. It took 8 days from pick up to delivery and I could track it. It was interesting to see where it went. I also prefer their online form that you fill in. I’ve explored other companies but much prefer this one. I’m can highly recommend this company.
