Worldwide Parcel Services are able to ship heavy parcels of up to 1 tonne in weight to countries all around the world, regardless of the heavy parcel's special requirements. WPS have shipped a range of large or heavy parcels including suitcases, gym equipment and golf clubs to name just a few.

1. What countries can I send heavy parcels to?

Any of our 200 destinations. Whether you are sending a parcel to Europe, Asia or North America - we are more than happy to send heavy parcels.

2. How can I send a large parcel?

You can send a large parcel just the same as any parcel you send at Worldwide Parcel Services. Just make sure you have the correct dimensions of the parcels before booking your parcel.

3. Do I have to package my parcel any differently?

It’s important all of our parcels are packaged correctly, regardless of their weight. Simply follow our packing advice page on how to package your parcel and we will be able to deliver your parcel.  

4. How much does it cost to send a large parcel?

The cost depends on the courier you choose, your destination and the weight of your items.

5. What is the cheapest way to send large and heavy packages?

The cheapest way to send a large package or parcel is to use our quick quote tool above. Simply enter the origin and destination, the parcel dimensions and we’ll get you the latest quotes from our courier network so you get the best deal.

6. Is there a weight limit for sending packages?

The weight limit for sending large parcels with WPS is 1 tonne for road service and 300 kilos for air. We are happy to ship items up to these weights to over 200 destinations across the world providing they are not on our list of prohibited items.

7. Can I send numerous heavy parcels at once?

Yes, as long as they are separately placed and adheres to our heavy parcel guidelines.

8. Can I import heavy parcels from abroad?

Yes, as long as the parcel is coming direct to the UK and adheres to our heavy parcel guidelines.

9. Is there anything I need to do to help the driver?

If your parcel appears particularly heavy or awkward, then you may need to assist your courier driver.

10. What heavy parcel contents have WPS delivered?

11. Can you deliver heavy items internationally?

Yes we can deliver parcels that weigh up to 1 tonne to over 200 destinations around the world. However the price for the delivery will vary depending on the country and the type of parcel delivery service selected.

12. What are the restriction?

Any package that is being sent should be accessible. For instance if you live in a flat, please ensure that the items are brought downstairs so that it is accessible for our couriers. This is for the safety of our drivers.

13. Can I get some cover for my package?

Yes you can pay a small extra fee so that your package is covered in the unlikely event that any damage is suffered during the parcel delivery  If  you have any further questions regarding heavy parcels or are unsure about anything, please don't hesitate to contact us today and one of our friendly team will be more than happy to assist you.

We also offer a 30kg parcel courier service, as well as a service for 20kg parcels and awkward shapes such as long parcel delivery.
